Machine Operator

What is the role?

• Operating high-speed slitting machines safely and efficiently
• Producing reels to exact customer specifications
• Carrying out quality and process control checks
• Monitoring and identifying potential issues
• Accurately completing production records
• Working closely with our Production, Quality, and Technical teams
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety

What do we need?

• Experience operating slitting equipment within flexible packaging, or manufacturing environments is desirable
• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working Hours

This role operates on a 3-week rotating shift pattern:

• Week 1: 3 days (6am to 6.15pm
• Week 2: 3 nights, 6pm to 6.15am
• Week 3: 2 days and 2 nights
