Night Shift
£12.71 per hour + Fortnightly Shift Allowance
We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing and machine operating experience who is looking to develop their skills within a specialist production environment. Full training will be provided on specific machinery, but candidates must have a background in manufacturing and experience operating machinery within a production setting.
Shift Pattern:
- Permanent Night Shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 2-weekly rotation
- Operating and monitoring extrusion machinery following training
- Setting up and adjusting machines to meet production requirements
- Conducting routine quality checks and recording production data
- Loading raw materials and monitoring production output
- Identifying and reporting machine faults or production issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience operating machinery within a factory setting
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to follow processes and work instructions accurately
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable with a flexible and positive attitude
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
