High Peak - Temp to Perm Opportunity

BX2 Ltd is currently recruiting Machine Operators on behalf of our client in the High Peak area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business offering ongoing work, full training, and the potential for a permanent position.

Previous Rotational Moulding experience is preferred; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday 6:00am – 6:00pm
• 48 hours per week
• Day shift position

Due to the location, own transport is preferred.

Pay & Benefits

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay every Friday
• Weekly shift bonus of £40

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rotational moulding machinery
• Load raw materials into moulds and begin the moulding process
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain product quality
• Carry out quality checks and inspections on finished products
• Trim and finish moulded products to required specifications
• Inspect moulds and machinery, reporting any faults or maintenance requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and productivity enhancements

Job Description

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is advantageous but not essential
• Rotational moulding experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
• Good level of physical fitness
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK
