Machine Technician – Mash Factory 

Want to be at the heart of fast-moving production, keeping automated machinery running smoothly and supporting quality every day? We’re recruiting a Machine Technician to join our state-of-the-art mashed potato facility.

Working in a dedicated, skilled environment, you’ll help deliver superior quality chilled mash with reliable consistency—supported by high levels of automation 

What you’ll be doing

• Provide front-line engineering support to a range of production machinery and associated software
• Carry out first-line maintenance and respond effectively to production needs
• Complete PPMs (planned preventative maintenance) to help ensure uptime and quality
• Apply a hands-on, technically minded approach to machinery operation and fault-finding

What we’re looking for

• Experience in running and supporting production machines
• Experience ideally in a chilled food or high-care manufacturing environment
• A strong understanding of the principles of machinery and how systems work together
• The confidence to work in a busy production setting while maintaining quality and safety standards
