Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Machinist with strong Ancillary Equipment experience to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of specialized manual and CNC ancillary machines to ensure precision quality across our product lines.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

• Horizontal Broaching: Set up and operate horizontal broaching machines for internal and external keyways/splines.

• Vertical Key Seating & Slotting: Hands-on operation and setup of both Manual and CNC key seating and slotting machines.

• Drilling & Tapping: Perform precise manual and semi-automated drilling and tapping operations using:

  • Bench Drills

  • Archdale Radial Arm Drills

  • Herbert Drilling Machines

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience operating ancillary machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong ability to work with technical drawings and hold close tolerances.

• Knowledge of standard workshop safety protocols and quality inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, plug gauges).

• Good communication skills and a team-first mindset.
