Machinist

We Are Zenith are working with a well-established manufacturing company who are looking for an experienced Machinist with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. If you take pride in producing high-quality precision components, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up and operating manual machines to produce precision-engineered components
• Working from detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Measuring, inspecting, and ensuring components meet exact tolerances
• Adjusting machine settings and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and ensuring equipment is kept in good working order
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Collaborating with colleagues to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Machinist
• Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Competent using measuring equipment
• High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Competent using all types of timber, hardwood, softwood, sheet and melamine.

Working Hours:

Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30.
Overtime, including weekends and night shifts, may be required depending on workload and project deadlines.
