We’re working with a well-established MEP contractor who is looking to appoint a Maintenance & Aftercare Coordinator to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in facilities management, construction aftercare, or maintenance coordination who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of client relationships.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for coordinating planned and reactive maintenance works, managing client enquiries, liaising with engineers and subcontractors, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently from initial report through to completion.

This is a varied role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organisation, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage maintenance and aftercare requests from clients.
  • Coordinate engineers and subcontractors to deliver works.
  • Schedule planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Monitor job progress and ensure works are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout each job.
  • Update internal systems and keep accurate job records.
  • Work closely with operational teams to resolve issues quickly.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Maintenance, Aftercare, Facilities Management or Construction Coordination role.
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Confidence speaking with clients, engineers and subcontractors.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise multiple jobs.
  • A proactive attitude with plenty of drive and enthusiasm.
  • Previous experience within construction or facilities management.
  • Knowledge of M&E environments would be advantageous but is not essential.

Desirable

  • Experience using Procore.
  • Experience using Joblogic or similar CAFM/job management software.
  • Background within FM, building services, construction or maintenance.
