The RoleAs a Maintenance Operative, you will support the day-to-day maintenance of the warehouse and factory, ensuring the site remains safe, organised and fully operational. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with previous maintenance, labouring or DIY experience who enjoys practical work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out general maintenance across the warehouse and factory
  • Build, repair and paint wooden pallets
  • Complete basic welding and fabrication tasks where required
  • Undertake general labouring duties across the site
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Report maintenance issues through the correct channels
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Support other departments with maintenance-related tasks when required
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in a maintenance, labouring or warehouse maintenance role
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Experience building or repairing pallets would be advantageous
  • Welding and fabrication experience is desirable
  • Strong DIY or general maintenance skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Good attention to detail
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • 6:00am – 2:00pm or 7:00am – 3:00pm
  • Temporary to Permanent opportunity
  • Monthly pay on the 28th of each month
Pay
  • £12.87 per hour
