Maintenance Assistant

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Operative join a busy commercial maintenance project, on a long term project. The work include assisting maintenance engineers across a couple of MOD sites in Cambridgeshire. This is a temp-to-perm position, with a permanent position on offer after 12-weeks. This position is suitable for someone looking for stability and long term career prospects.
 

• Location - Cambridgeshire
• Salary – £13.56 per hour PAYE
• Hours - 8AM - 4PM, 40 hours per week.
• Contract length - 12 week contract, permanent after this, 

You will initially require a vehicle, where a mileage allowance will be paid. We do not expect no more than 30-50 miles per day. Mileage paid 45p per mile after 30 miles. Upon completion of 12 weeks, you will receive a company vehicle and fuel card 

As a Maintenance Operative your duties will be but not limited to

• General reactive maintenance on the site
• This may include changing light bulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves. Patch plaster. rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• Assisting various maintenance engineers on site
