We're recruiting on behalf of a leading food manufacturer in Limerick for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a range of production and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure maximum machine availability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety standards.

About You

• Recognised engineering qualification (Level 6 Craft Certificate, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
• Multi-skilled with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or another fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• PLC fault-finding experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work a rotating three-shift pattern.
