The maintenance electrician position is working with a market leading, international multi-million-pound turnover engineering business based in Huddersfield. This opportunity offers both personal and career development within a market leading engineering group.

This is a permeant opportunity for a production operative to join a forward thinking, industry leader.

The brand-new purpose built, state of art manufacturing facility is based in Huddersfield, making it accessible from surrounding towns and cities such as; Elland, Halifax, Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician:

  • Carry out electrical installation and wiring projects across the manufacturing site.
  • Conduct reactive and planned maintenance on plant and machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot panels and control systems.
  • Support facilities maintenance activities as required.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective repairs.


Working Hours of the Maintenance Electrician:

  • Week 1- Mon- Thur:06:00-14:00, Fri 06:00-11:30
  • Week 2- Mon- Thur:14:00-22:00, Fri 11:30-17:30


I would be keen to speak to individuals who possess:

  • A recognised Electrical Maintenance Apprenticeship, City & Guilds qualification or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
  • Installation and wiring experience.
  • Experience working with electrical panels and control systems.
  • Knowledge of PLC controls and programming.
  • Understanding of PID temperature controls.


In Return, the Maintenance Electrician will receive:

  • Basic Salary: £40,092 Per Annum.
  • 27 days annual leave + bank holidays.
  • 14% pension contribution.
