Location: Lincoln, LN6 3TA

Hours of work: 37.5 - Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 15:30; Friday, 07:00 - 12:30

Contract Type: Permanent

Our client, ISS, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to provide hands-on fabric engineering and facilities support across a client site in Lincoln.

This role focuses on building maintenance, statutory compliance, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.

Job Description

We are looking for an electrically biased engineer with strong plumbing skills who can work independently as the sole engineer on site, maintaining a visible, client-facing presence while managing subcontractors and supporting overall site performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out building maintenance and ensure statutory compliance across the site
• Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and respond to reactive works
• Liaise with and manage subcontractors for maintenance activities
• Conduct regular site walkarounds and operational checks
• Perform basic electrical fault finding and minor repairs
• Undertake plumbing and minor mechanical maintenance tasks
• Manage contractor access and escort external suppliers on site
• Support general building fabric upkeep, including filter changes and small repairs

Skills & Experience

• Experience in building fabric maintenance
• Electrical fault-finding capability
• Knowledge of plumbing and minor mechanical works
• Ability to work independently
• Facilities or engineering background
• Fully electrically qualified, including 18th Edition
