  • Complete maintenance records and statutory documentation accurately using Maximo CAFM.
  • Work safely in accordance with Permit to Work procedures, safe isolation and electrical safety standards.
  • Support statutory compliance activities including emergency lighting inspections, fire alarm testing, water hygiene tasks and other planned compliance checks.
  • Assist with minor plumbing repairs, blockages, water softener checks and general fabric maintenance when required.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and contribute to maintaining operational resilience across the hospital.
  • Maintain technical competency through ongoing training and contract-specific qualifications.

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Valid ECS Card.
  • Previous experience working as an Authorised Person (AP) or Competent Person (CP) within a commercial, healthcare or critical environment.
  • Experience carrying out electrical PPMs, reactive maintenance and fault-finding.
  • Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe systems of work.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to support wider maintenance activities outside your core electrical trade.
