Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £47,100 with shift allowance
Shifts: 3 shift rotation (2 weeks 8am-4pm, 1 week 7pm-3am then 2 weeks 8am-4pm, 1 week 5pm-1am)
Overtime: 1.5x Mon–Sat | 2x Sun & Bank Holidays
Holidays: 22 days + 8 Bank Holidays – increasing with length of service

Role details
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join the team in a multi-skilled position.
You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and improvement work across a varied range of equipment.
As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:
- Planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Fault finding within electrical control panels.
- Working with sensors, relays and contacts.
- Using a multimeter and reading electrical diagrams.
- Supporting equipment upgrades and continuous improvement.
- Working safely and taking ownership of your work.
The role would suit a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys variety and wants to continue developing their mechanical and electrical skills.
Requirements
This business is very open when it comes to background and previous industry experience. They are interested in your practical skills, attitude and willingness to learn.
Ideally, you will have:
- A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
- Experience in maintenance, engineering, fault finding or a similar technical environment.
- A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving.
- A genuine interest in learning and progressing.
