Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias)

Elevation have the pleasure of working with an industry leading, multi-million-pound plc business based in Barnsley who are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias).

Salary: £48,336
Location: Barnsley
Hours: 4 shifts-Days, Afters, Nights, Weekend shifts on weekly rotation- THEN WEEK OFF!

Duties of a Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias):

• Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Control Systems.
• Attending to breakdowns
• Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be
• Working on CMMS system daily
• Working within a team environment
• Stock checks on a regular basis

Desired experience:

• You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
• Ideally have 3 years experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer previously
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Must be happy working all 4 shifts on weekly rotation
• Have experience of working within an Electrical Maintenance Engineering role previously
• Must be happy within a team environment, whilst also being capable of working from own initiative
• Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)
• You must be open minded and flexible to change with the needs and growth of the business
