Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment have the pleasure of working with a heavy manufacturing company based in the Worksop area who are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their well established team.

Working Hours: Days only, Monday to Friday 

Salary: £39,500

Duties of the Maintenance Engineer will include:

• Responsible for the electrical and mechanical repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical switchgear when needed, equipment, systems and components
• Review job orders to determine work priorities
• Responsible maintenance activities on utility systems to provide a continuous supply of heat, electric power, gas, or air required for operations
• Working on heavy manufacturing machinery
• Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards
• Helps with training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures

Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Electrical/ Mechanical qualification but must have sound knowledge in both
• Time served apprenticeship is ideal
• Previous experience of working in a similar environment
• Ability to read and interpret documents
• Mathematical Skills
