Maintenance Engineer in South Cave

Location: Broomfleet, East Yorkshire
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)
Salary: £52,000 - £54,000 (DOE)

The Role:

As an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a range of production and plant equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across site.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Install, maintain, and improve plant machinery and production systems.
• Use a variety of testing and diagnostic equipment to identify issues quickly and effectively.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and productivity.
• Minimise downtime and help ensure production targets are achieved.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality, and housekeeping.

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (minimum requirement).
• Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical motors, drives, and pneumatic systems.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Commitment to safe working practices and quality standards.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
