The Role
As a Shift Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment and ensuring the site continues to operate efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Breakdown response and repair
- Supporting continuous improvement projects
- Working closely with production teams to maximise reliability and performance
- Maintaining high standards of safety and engineering practice
You'll work a rotating shift pattern covering Earlies, Afters and Nights.
What We're Looking For
- Engineering apprenticeship with NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
- Electrical or mechanical engineering background
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging or similar environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- PLC experience would be advantageous
- A proactive engineer who takes pride in doing things properly
