Join a global manufacturer at the forefront of innovative packaging solutions.. This is an excellent opportunity for an Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities - Maintenance Engineer

  • Provide breakdown support across injection moulding machines, automation systems, and ancillary equipment.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities to maximise equipment reliability and performance.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Support continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing processes and equipment effectiveness.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and external suppliers to deliver operational objectives.
  • Contribute to initiatives focused on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in line with health and safety standards and company procedures.
  • Assist with training and mentoring colleagues to develop engineering capability across the team.
  • Support fellow engineers and departments as required.
  • Promote and maintain a positive safety culture throughout the site.

Experience / Qualifications - Maintenance Engineer

  • Time-served engineer with an electrical or mechanical bias (multi-skilled experience highly desirable).
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Injection moulding experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across automated production equipment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to improving equipment performance and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements within an industrial environment.
