Maintenance Engineer in Shifnal, Shropshire

We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Telford.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically bias Maintenance Engineer looking to play a key role in keeping a fast-paced production operation running smoothly, with a strong focus on reliability, preventative maintenance and minimising downtime. 

Maintenance Engineer Role Benefits:

• Salary £43,000
• Premium overtime rates.
• Pension. 
• 34 days holiday. 
• Flexible working hours. 
• Days only  (Monday – Friday) 

Maintenance Engineer Duties include:

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) 
• Reactive breakdown maintenance 
• Mechanical fault finding and repairs 
• Electrical fault finding 
• Supporting machinery installations and modifications 
• Identifying opportunities to improve machine reliability 
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime 
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records

Maintenance Engineer Requirements include: 

• Apprentice trained.  
• Electrical Qualifications. 
• 18th edition. 
• PLC experience (fault finding). 
• Previous experience in an electrical maintenance role. 
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
