Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer ready to take on a hands-on role where your technical expertise will keep operations running at their best?
We're currently looking for Electrically-biased Maintenance Engineers experience working within FMCG environments to join our client in the West Lothian area.
Shift pattern:
Rotation 1: Mon – Fri, dayshift
Rotation 2: Tue – Sat, dayshift
Responsibilities in your new role as Maintenance Engineer
As a key Maintenance Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of critical production equipment. Your role will involve:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment.
- Diagnosing and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems.
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects.
- Ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient professional. You will have:
- Time-served Electrical Engineer or recognised engineering qualification.
- 18th Edition Certification
- Experience within a UK-based manufacturing, production, industrial, or FMCG environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
