A well-established food manufacturer in Malton is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team on a 4 on 4 off days-only shift pattern.
It's a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer who wants a strong work-life balance without compromising on the variety or technical challenge of a manufacturing engineering role.
The Role- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Complete PPMs and preventative maintenance activities
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Work closely with production and other engineers to keep the site running efficiently
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and food manufacturing compliance
You'll ideally hold an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent engineering qualification and have experience working within a manufacturing environment.
We're open to engineers with either an electrical or mechanical bias, provided you have a good understanding of both disciplines.
Food/FMCG experience would be advantageous, but engineers from other manufacturing backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
