Maintenance Engineer

Our client based in East Wretham is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to cover for long term sickness.  Working a 3 shift system - 0600-1400 / 1400-2200 and 2200-0600, you will be required to:

• Take responsibility for the cleanliness and tidiness of the workshop, tools and replenishing consumables
• Carry out and record all daily, weekly and monthly PPM tasks in line with the schedules
• Guide and train operators to be self sufficient in routine reactive maintenance tasks
• Review and continuosly develop maintenance plans by determining the most effective strategies for each piece of equipment
• Fault find and repair breakdowns
• Provide suggestions for improvements to reduce downtime
• Build relationships with suppliers to ensure essential spares are readily available and longer lead time critical spares are stored securely and replaced as necessary.
• Any other duties as required.

This position is offered on a temporary basis, you will therefore need to be available to start work immediately.
