Are you a Mechanical Fitter with soldering and/or welding experience looking to join an industry-leading company, where you'll work on a variety of heavy machinery, receive electrical training, and boost your earnings through overtime opportunities?

This established global metals business specialises in the recycling and processing of high-performance alloys, supporting industries including aerospace, power generation, oil and gas, and advanced manufacturing. Operating across an international network, the company generates a turnover exceeding £60 million in the UK and is recognised for its technical expertise, quality standards and commitment to sustainability.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance across site equipment and facilities, diagnosing and resolving faults, and completing a range of general maintenance activities to ensure operations run safely and efficiently. You will also undertake occasional welding and fabrication work as required to support the wider maintenance function.

This role would suit a Mechanical Fitter with soldering and/or welding experience who is looking to broaden their electrical skillset, work on a variety of heavy machinery, and increase their earnings through overtime opportunities.

The Role:

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance (60/40)
• Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical repairs
• Completing welding, soldering and light fabrication work as required
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

The Person:

• Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Engineer or similar background
• Welding and/or soldering experience
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Commutable to Sheffield
