42 hours/week, working shifts including nights and 1 weekend in 2.

Are you a Mechanical Fitter from an industrial maintenance background looking for a well paid role with a large, stable company?

This position offers an excellent salary. It would suit someone who wants to maximise income and doesn't mind working some nights/weekends. The shift pattern means 2 weeks purely on days then 2 weeks on nights, meaning you aren't constantly alternating from one to the other.

Earnings will be in the £44-47K bracket with opportunity to increase through overtime. This works out as £20-£22/hour.

The positions offer training and progression plus overtime opportunities.

The role will focus on trouble shooting, installation, fault finding and repair work, working as part of a team on a shift basis.

The Role

1. Full time, permanent position with a large manufacturing company, based in Northern Scotland
2. Working 2 weeks on days then 2 weeks on nights, 12 hour shifts (phone number removed). 7 shifts per 2 weeks.
3. Repairs to mechanical equipment-hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps etc.
4. Fault diagnosis

The Person

1. Working experience as a Mechanical Fitter
2. Experience of mechanical faultfinding on hydraulics and pneumatics
3. Experience in a heavy plant manufacturing environment
4. UK driving licence and wiling to work shifts/nights
