About the Role
I am recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business in Belfast. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment while managing a skilled engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the site maintenance and engineering team.
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, efficiency, and downtime reduction.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and food manufacturing standards.
- Manage maintenance budgets, contractors, and engineering projects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled engineering background.
- Experience within manufacturing; food or FMCG experience is highly desirable.
