Maintenance Operative - Bradford Temporary

Location: Bradford
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Duration: 4 weeks
Start: Immediate

We are currently looking for a Reactive Maintenance Operative to join our client's team in Bradford on a temporary 4-week assignment.

This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone with general maintenance, repair or facilities experience who is also happy with manual work, including moving furniture.

• Carry out general reactive maintenance and repairs
• Respond to day-to-day maintenance requests
• Complete basic repairs to buildings, fixtures and fittings
• Move and relocate furniture and equipment around the site
• Assist with setting up and clearing rooms
• Help keep the site safe, clean and operational
• Identify issues and report any work requiring specialist attention
• Support the wider facilities and maintenance team
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

• Previous maintenance, facilities or general repair experience is desirable
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and moving furniture
• Good practical skills and a hands-on approach
• Reliable, hardworking and punctual
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Health & safety awareness
