We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to work within the Housing Repairs and Maintenance sector across Grantham and Newark. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable Monday to Friday hours and the opportunity for overtime. The successful candidate will carry out general maintenance and repair works to ensure properties remain compliant and fit for purpose.


Key Responsibilities
 
  • Carry out general maintenance and repair works across properties
  • Undertake basic property upkeep tasks
  • Identify and report property defects using internal systems
  • Ensure properties remain compliant and fit for purpose
  • Work in line with health and safety requirements


Requirements
 
  • Previous experience within property repairs and maintenance
  • Multi-skilled background
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively


Salary & Benefits
 
  • £18.20 Ltd per hour (PAYE equivalent £15.62 per hour)
  • Temp to Perm opportunity
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Holiday allowance
  • Sociable working hours
  • Overtime available
