Maintenance Person – Full Time (Temporary)
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Monday to Friday
Rate: £20.00 per hour (CIS)
Duration: Ongoing Temporary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our client, a leading provider of student accommodation in Sheffield. This is a hands-on role with varied tasks, ensuring properties are in excellent condition for incoming tenants.

Maintenance Person Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect rooms, report maintenance issues, and carry out immediate fixes where possible
• Prepare rooms for new tenant arrivals
• Fill holes, carry out painting touch-ups and full wall painting
• Repair toilet flushes, taps, and other basic plumbing issues
• Move and assemble furniture, including mattresses and other large items
• Apply silicone and sealants where required
• Repair or replace shower heads and minor fixtures
• Perform general fault finding and basic repairs
• Flush water systems and report defects
• Support the wider maintenance team as needed

Maintenance Person Requirements:

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience, ideally within Build-to-Rent, student accommodation, property management, or hospitality
• Multi-skilled with the ability to work independently
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, proactive, and available for an immediate start
