An established Housing Association based in Glasgow is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your new role
- Administer and coordinate day-to-day reactive repairs and maintenance requests
- Act as a key point of contact for tenants, contractors, and internal teams
- Raise and manage work orders, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Monitor progress of repairs and follow up on outstanding works
- Liaise with contractors regarding job progress, access, and invoice queries
- Support planned, cyclical, and compliance-related maintenance programmes
- Assist with arranging inspections and ensuring access is secured within required timescales
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service across all communication channels
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within a Housing Association or social housing environment
- Strong understanding of repairs and maintenance processes
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Homemaster (or similar housing management systems) is highly desirable.
