Are you a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure role with excellent training, career progression, and a varied workload?
We're recruiting for a Maintenance Shift Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Wednesbury. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment, helping to keep operations running efficiently and minimise downtime.
The Role
- Planned preventative and reactive maintenance
- Mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Basic electrical fault finding and testing
- Working on:
- Conveyor systems
- Industrial washing machines
- Linen presses
- Dryers
- Feeders, folders and ironers
- Steam and chemical feed systems
- Conveyor systems
No PLC programming or robotics experience required.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Engineering qualification preferred (Level 2 considered)
- Mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing, production, industrial, FMCG, processing, or similar environments
- Basic electrical fault-finding skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach
- Overseas engineering qualifications considered
- 4 Days (06:00-18:00)
- 4 Off
- 4 Nights (18:00-06:00)
- 4 Off
