Are you a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure role with excellent training, career progression, and a varied workload?

We're recruiting for a Maintenance Shift Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Wednesbury. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment, helping to keep operations running efficiently and minimise downtime.

The Role
  • Planned preventative and reactive maintenance

  • Mechanical fault finding and repairs

  • Basic electrical fault finding and testing

  • Working on:

    • Conveyor systems

    • Industrial washing machines

    • Linen presses

    • Dryers

    • Feeders, folders and ironers

    • Steam and chemical feed systems

Predominantly mechanical maintenance.
No PLC programming or robotics experience required.

What We're Looking For
  • Level 3 Engineering qualification preferred (Level 2 considered)

  • Mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing, production, industrial, FMCG, processing, or similar environments

  • Basic electrical fault-finding skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach

  • Overseas engineering qualifications considered

Shift PatternFollowing a four-week Monday-Friday induction period:

  • 4 Days (06:00-18:00)

  • 4 Off

  • 4 Nights (18:00-06:00)

  • 4 Off
