Maintenance Technician – Electrical or Mechanical Bias (Night Shift)

We design and manufacture high-performance heat exchange units and cooling modules for leading OEMs across the off-highway, construction and agricultural sectors.
We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with either an Electrical or Mechanical bias to join our night shift maintenance team. This role focuses on diagnosing faults, maintaining production machinery and improving equipment reliability across a diverse range of manufacturing equipment, from well-established legacy machines through to newer automated systems.
Working Hours & Benefits
Night Shift
- Monday – Thursday: 10:00pm – 6:00am
- Friday: 4:00pm – 9:00pm

- Diagnose, fault-find and repair production machinery
- Respond quickly and safely to equipment breakdowns
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance
- Interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams and mechanical drawings
- Work across a broad range of manufacturing equipment, including legacy machinery
- Record maintenance activity accurately using the CMMS system
- Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability
- Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping
- Time served engineering apprenticeship
- Minimum ONC, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
- At least two years' maintenance experience within manufacturing
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills
- PLC fault-finding experience
- Experience working with production machinery
- Experience of root cause analysis and reliability improvements
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability
- Methodical approach to fault-finding
- Good understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Safe working practices and isolation procedures
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
