Maintenance Technician, up to £46,000, Coventry
You'll work a rotating shift pattern covering mornings (6am to 2pm), days(8am to 4pm) and afternoons (2pm to 10pm), with a shift allowance paid on top of salary for afternoon shifts. Salary starts at £43,842.90 while training and rises to £45,333.04 once fully qualified, plus a shift allowance for the afternoon shift, taking total earnings to around £46,000.
This is a hands-on maintenance role covering CNC machines, plant and equipment. You'll carry out corrective repairs, planned preventive maintenance, and support installation and refurbishment of equipment to keep production running at the standard this environment demands.
What you'll be doing:
Corrective and preventive maintenance on CNC machines, plant and equipment
Diagnostic and predictive maintenance techniques to reduce downtime
Supporting equipment shutdowns and returning machinery to full operational condition
First line maintenance training and support for cell operators
Installation and refurbishment of plant equipment as part of ongoing site improvements
What they're looking for:
City and Guilds, an equivalent qualification, or a completed apprenticeship in a related field
Experience maintaining CNC machines, production equipment or manufacturing assets, ideally in aerospace, automotive or manufacturing
Working knowledge of CNC mechanical and electrical repairs, Mazak experience desirable
Understanding of machine tools and associated control systems
Occasional travel to other sites may be required.
