Salary: £42,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: 4 on / 4 off Shift Pattern (Days & Nights, 7:00am-7:00pm / 7:00pm-7:00am)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their on-site engineering team at a commercial facility on the Essex/Hertfordshire border. What you'll do:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across commercial plumbing and building services systems.
- Complete routine tap temperature monitoring and plumbing maintenance, including repairs to toilets, taps, pipework, valves, sanitaryware, and associated water systems.
- Diagnose and rectify plumbing faults, carrying out first-line repairs to ensure minimal disruption to site operations.
- Assist with general building services maintenance and support the wider engineering team where required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
- Previous experience within commercial plumbing or building services maintenance.
- Good understanding of PPMs, reactive maintenance, and commercial plumbing systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach.
- £42,000 per annum salary
