Maintenance Technician

Working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm our client is seeking a hands on, proactive Maintenance Technician to work within a newly opened warehouse based in Rugby.

We are looking for an individual with experience in general maintenance and repairs, confident in working across building fabric, equipment checks and everyday site issues - you will need to take pride in a safe, organised and fully operational warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete planned maintenance and carry out safe, timely repairs across the warehouse.
• Respond quickly to maintenance issues, diagnosing faults and resolving problems effectively.
• Support the upkeep of building fabric, including doors, racking, minor plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
• Carry out safety checks and ensure compliance with site standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and support contractor activity on site.
• Work collaboratively with Operations teams, supporting small layout changes and improvement activities.

Skills and Experience Required

• Practical experience in maintenance or facilities work within a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Adequate general repair skills (mechanical, electrical basics, building fabric).
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and communicate clearly.
• Positive, reliable, and safety‑focused approach.
