Management Accountant | Wolverhampton | Up to £39,000
Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? We're hiring for a growing finance team based in Wolverhampton, offering the chance to own a broad range of core finance processes and make a real impact on business reporting and compliance.
The Role:
- Bank reconciliations and weekly cash flow forecasting
- Sales ledger management, credit control and customer credit vetting
- Month-end close and quarterly VAT returns
- Preparing management accounts — accruals, prepayments, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations
- Fixed Asset Register and depreciation
- Cost of sales analysis, WIP review, stock verification and valuation
- Supporting annual budgeting and statistical reporting
- Producing daily/weekly/monthly reports for senior management
- Driving process automation and improvement
What You'll Need:
- AAT qualified (or equivalent) — essential
- Proven experience in an accounts department
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills, self-motivated and analytical
- Expert knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
- Working knowledge of VAT regulations and UK GAAP
Desirable:
- CIMA (newly qualified)
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Sage Line 50 / Payroll experience

Salary: Up to £39,000
