Management Accountant

We are  looking for an experienced Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis to join a busy finance team and provide immediate support during an exciting period of change.

This is a hands on role where you will work closely with the Financial Controller, taking responsibility for key elements of the day-to-day finance function while also supporting management reporting, forecasting and year-end activities.

You will need to be someone who can hit the ground running, work independently and confidently take ownership from day one.

Main Duties:

* Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs

* Supporting the consolidation of multiple entities

* Managing and monitoring daily cash flow

* Preparing forecasts and supporting budget reviews

* Analysing financial performance and investigating variances

* Providing meaningful financial analysis and commentary to management

* Supporting P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting

* Reviewing monthly performance with budget holders

* Assisting with year-end accounts and external audit

* Supporting the finance team through a finance systems transition

* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting

* Providing ad hoc financial analysis and modelling as required
