What will the Management Accountant role involve?
- Supporting senior management and the wider leadership team with accurate management accounting and financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making
- Ensuring timely and precise revenue reporting, managing accruals, prepayments, and maintaining a clean balance sheet through regular reconciliations
- Overseeing inventory management including raw materials, finished goods, and work-in-progress, ensuring records are accurate
- Preparing comprehensive monthly management accounts packs and assisting with projects such as profitability analysis and VAT compliance
- Managing payroll, pension schemes, and supporting the annual audit process
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
- Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant with relevant industry experience, ideally within manufacturing or project accounting
- Demonstrates high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using Sage 200 or similar ERP systems
- Attentive to detail, organised, and capable of working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and accuracy
