The OpportunityReporting into the Finance Director and working within a close-knit finance team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business decisions, and helping drive improvements across finance processes.
This is an exciting time to join, with the business implementing a new ERP system, giving you the opportunity to be involved in systems development, reporting enhancements, and process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts with meaningful analysis and commentary.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Support multiple group entities, ensuring consistent financial reporting and compliance.
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
- Support VAT returns, corporation tax processes and wider statutory compliance.
- Produce product costing information and support costing activities.
- Process staff expenses.
- Contribute to finance improvement projects and provide ad hoc analysis when required.
- Play an active role in the implementation of a new ERP system and the development of financial reporting and analytics.

You'll ideally have:
- Part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent).
- Around two years' experience in a management accounting role.
- Previous experience within manufacturing or FMCG.
- Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Knowledge of audit support and tax compliance.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems or systems implementation would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

- Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (37.5 hours per week).
