Management Accountant

Reporting into a Finance Manager, you will take ownership of a range of management accounting responsibilities, including:

● Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts

● Analysis of financial performance against budget and forecast

● Preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial projections

● Detailed variance and KPI analysis

● Balance sheet reconciliations and control account reviews

● Cashflow forecasting 

● Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes

● Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders

● Providing financial insight and challenge to support business decisions

● Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and financial performance

● Supporting wider finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

They are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant who enjoys working with the numbers but, importantly, can also translate financial information into meaningful insight for the wider business.

You will ideally be:

● Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA

● Experienced in a management accounting environment

● Confident producing and analysing management accounts

● Strong technically, with good Excel skills

● Comfortable working with large volumes of financial data

● Commercially aware with strong business partnering skills

● Analytical, organised and proactive

● Keen to develop your career within a large and successful organisation
