Management Accountant

We’re currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Keighley.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys combining hands-on accounting responsibilities with strategic business support. You'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving business performance, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Analyse business performance and provide meaningful financial insights
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and cashflow projections
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance
• Reconcile sales, cost of sales and balance sheet accounts
• Oversee supplier payments and statutory payment processes
• Support payroll administration and related financial activities
• Partner with department managers to provide financial guidance and support
• Assist with stock takes, stock valuation and costing analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting
• Provide support, guidance and mentoring to colleagues where required

About You

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
• Strong financial reporting and management accounting expertise
• Experience producing budgets, forecasts and cashflow reports
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of payroll processes and financial controls
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
• Proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
