Management Accountant

An established organisation is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team on an interim basis.Working within a busy finance function, you'll support month-end reporting, reconciliations, financial analysis and management accounting activities. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across reporting, business partnering and financial controls.The position would suit an experienced accountant who can quickly integrate into the team and add value from day one.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger accounting activities
• Prepare accruals, prepayments and journal entries
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Support month-end close and management reporting processes
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules and disposals
• Process payroll journals and associated reconciliations
• Reconcile intercompany balances across multiple entities
• Support VAT, tax and statutory reporting requirements
• Complete foreign currency revaluations and reconciliations
• Assist with ad hoc finance projects and reporting deadlines

About You

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant position
• Strong month-end accounting and reconciliation experience
• Experience working across multiple entities advantageous
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting and reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience using ERP or accounting systems
• Able to work effectively within a fast-paced financial environment
• Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidates will be considered

Desirable Experience

• Manufacturing, stock or inventory accounting exposure
• Multi-entity reporting experience
• VAT and tax reconciliations
• Foreign currency accounting
• Experience supporting complex finance operations
