Management Accountant

This Management Accountant role in Brighton is all about keeping the numbers in check and helping the business make smart financial decisions. You'll be handling the day-to-day financial reporting and analysis to ensure everything runs smoothly in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

Description

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts to provide accurate financial insights.
• Analyse financial data to support decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Assist with the development and implementation of financial processes and controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification or part-qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis, ideally within the manufacturing/distribution industry.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication skills to explain financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• An ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Offer
