Management Accountant – Construction

Location: Swansea
Salary: £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Pro Staff Construction are recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a fast-growing construction business based in Swansea.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified, qualified or experienced Management Accountant who enjoys taking ownership of the month-end process and wants to play a key role within a growing finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end accounts, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage Group and SPV bank reconciliations
• Manage WIP, development costs and intercompany accounting
• Prepare monthly CVR reports
• Process weekly and monthly payroll
• Prepare CIS300 and VAT returns
• Manage sales invoicing and credit control
• Support quarterly SPV accounts and year-end audit

Requirements

• Part-qualified/qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent, or relevant experience
• Strong month-end and management accounting experience
• Knowledge of payroll, CIS and VAT
• Construction, property development or SPV experience desirable
• Confident using Xero and Excel
• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing deadlines
