Management Accountant

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Client in their ambitious and fast-growing Finance Team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Taking ownership of the monthly management accounts process across multiple entities
• Preparing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports alongside commentary and variance analysis
• Managing month-end close activities including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing foreign currency transactions and supporting multi-currency reporting
• Producing ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for senior leadership
• Preparing VAT returns and supporting wider statutory and regulatory reporting
• Supporting intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidation processes
• Providing margin and profitability analysis across products, customers, and sales channels
• Supporting landed cost analysis across an international import supply chain
• Working closely with commercial, buying, operations, and supply chain teams to provide financial insight
• Supporting the ongoing improvement of finance systems, processes, controls, and reporting
• Helping mentor junior members of the finance team and providing support across the wider finance function

What We’re Looking For:

• Part-qualified or newly qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
• Proven experience preparing monthly management accounts from start to finish
• Strong month-end experience including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
• Excellent Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables
• Strong analytical ability with confidence investigating and explaining financial variances
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and deadlines
• Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with non-finance colleagues
• Proactive and hands-on approach with the ability to manage your own workload
• Experience working within a fast-paced SME or group environment
