Are you a Manual Grinder or similar who has served an engineering apprenticeship, looking to join a specialised manufacturing firm that offers a days based, Monday to Friday role where you will benefit from ongoing progression and training to help you become an expert?

This company specialises in the manufacture of precision components for the Oil & Gas, Aerospace and Commercial industries, working with a range of blue-chip companies across the UK. Since their establishment, they have gone from strength to strength and are now looking to expand their production capabilities to keep up with ever increasing demand.

In this role you will be setting and operating conventional milling machines within a tight-knit team of engineers as well as liaising with senior leadership and other departments to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner. You will be trained on and expected to operate Surface grinders, bore grinders and cylindrical grinders. This is a site based, Monday to Friday role with unlimited overtime and optional programming training provided for the right candidates.

This role would suit a Manual Grinder looking for a days based, Monday to Friday role with a company offering stability and security as well as unlimited overtime increase your earnings.

The Role:

• Interpret technical drawings
• Carry out precision measurement
• Grind materials to tight tolerances
• Set up and operate manual grinding machinery
• Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Overtime paid at 1.5x

The Person:

• Manual Grinder or similar
• Time served apprenticeship
