Our engineering client is looking for a Manual Machinist to work in their precision machining and assembly department in Lancing.
Core Skills and Experience Required
Experience in Production engineering & manufacturing. Milling & Turning
Rotating equipment
An ‘ideas’ person / Hands on
Mechanically and production minded
Organised
Good communication skills
Striving for improvement of quality of process and product
Striving for reduction of costs
Advantageous
Apprenticeship in general machining and/or mechanical engineering
Manufacturing software
Desired-Programming – Siemens/Haas

Assist in the coordination of assembly and test activities when required

Working Times
Candidates are required to work 5 days per week, with an expected working day of 8.5 hours, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. They will therefore be paid for 8 hours per day.
