We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manual Lathe Turner to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Romsey.

This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled machinist who is confident operating conventional manual lathes and producing precision-engineered components to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating manual/conventional centre lathes.
• Manufacturing components from engineering drawings.
• Working to tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Measuring and inspecting finished parts using a range of inspection equipment.
• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating manual lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Competent using measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
