What You Will Do:
* Design and develop assembly processes for component parts and sub-assemblies, including the sequence of assembly operations and equipment arrangement.
* Specify and support automated or semi-automated tasks such as fastening, welding, screw driving, adhesive application, labelling, sorting, and packaging.
* Perform quality inspections and functional tests on assembled goods to ensure specifications are met.
* Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of assembly equipment, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
* Monitor assembly rates and finished goods inventory, identifying root causes of problems and driving improvements.
* Manage projects and processes with limited supervision, including coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals where required.
What You Will Bring:
* A solid background in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a closely related discipline within an engineering environment.
* Experience working with assembly processes and a strong understanding of quality inspection and functional testing principles.
* Confident problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues and make practical decisions under pressure.
* Experience contributing to equipment installation, operation, or maintenance activities, including supporting troubleshooting efforts.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
