Location: Westhoughton, Bolton
Pay Rate: £17.03 - £20.05 per hour (depending on shift pattern)
Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (days, nights & weekends)

We are seeking detail-focused Manufacturing Assistants to join a high-security, quality-critical production environment in Westhoughton for ongoing Temporary assignments.

This facility is part of a globally recognised organisation specialising in secure materials and high-precision manufacturing, supplying products used in sensitive and regulated applications worldwide.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a team where accuracy, responsibility, and integrity are essential. Paying between £17.03 to £20.05 per hour depending on shift pattern worked.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will support precision manufacturing processes within a controlled, high-security production environment. You will play an important role in ensuring products are manufactured to exact specifications while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards.

Flexibility is required as shifts can include days, nights, weekends, and overtime. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment and a steady employment history are essential.

All candidates must complete security clearance before starting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and maintain essential site production.

Essential Requirements

  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Own transport due to shift patterns and location
  • Eligibility to pass 5-year UK security vetting (settled status required)
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
  • Physically capable of manual handling and standing for extended periods

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or a regulated environment
  • Experience working with machinery or production lines
  • Understanding of workplace safety and COSHH practices
  • Experience in quality-driven or compliance-focused environments
